(Online photo, not mine) My car has been on the hoist for 4 days now ! The problem is the rear flex line where it mounts and passes through the frame crossmember. There is a retaining clip for each side of the frame. Every part brought in has the clips too close together as if the cross member is too thick....

So I found a 69-70 disc brake setup but it's very rusty. For sure the calipers are junk, I don't think anyone would even accept them as a core. Backing plates are quite rusty at the bottom from sitting on the ground. Spindles are good, steering arms are good, caliper mounting brackets are good. What is w...

Looks like 10 bolt and 12 bolt brakes are all the same on the 1969 B-bodies. I have a set of drums that are the newer style without the double lip on the inner side. The original double lip drums will need blasting and turning. Other than cost, was there a big difference between the two ?

For my 69 disc conversion. If you have the parts, and like to do you own lines, then I think a simple mock up jig is a way to make it easier to pre fab them close to the correct shape and length. To me it's preferable than having to spend time in and out of the engine compartment. Plus it's a good way to visualize...
