Had the ngine and carb rebuilt. While waiting for carb i put the one for my 307 on (non Computer) Car stalls when stopping backfires when slowing and bogs when secondaries open. Blew out fuel lines replaced fuel pump same problem figure carb to small. Got this cars qjet back same problems. Car has 14lbs...

My engine switches from 8 cylinders to 4, but at idle goes back to 8 cyl Wouldn't it stay at 4 cyl at idle? Anybody have knowledge of this engine.
