3100 SFI intake manifold failure - fix it or let it die? (PICS ADDED)
(Preview)
I just picked up a 2002 Buick Century. I got it dirt cheap. It has 140000kms. It came with a "low coolant warning" After much research, it appears that mine is just one of thousands with the same problem. Most likely lower intake manifold failure. GM issued a bulletin, and has an improved gas...

Fixing cast iron

I have a set of Pontiac heads that are desirable but one has a crack. The only method that i have heard that seems to be viable is called stitching. The process involves using plugs that are screwed into the crack. The plugs overlap each other and i was told this works very well. I am looking for opinions f...

Heater core question...

I've got my heater box out as I've just had my heater core re-cored. Inside the box there were pieces of old dried out gasket typer material that I chipped out. (This is where the core meets the inside of the heater box, not where the heater box meets the firewall.) I'm wondering if it would be wise to use...

At the time of purchase, I was content to install the parts from rad to rearend just as they came from the factory. While in York, PA, NNN headquarters, I picked up a 6...

Those ga...
