What oil would you guys recommend for a 350sbc running in the harsh northern Ontario winter? In the past I used 10w30 but usually stopped driving the car when the first snows fell. This time I foresee driving the car all winter long.

So due to a leaky heater core I bypassed the core years ago and now I can't remember which hose goes where. Since I'm making things right and installing a working heater core, does anyone have pics of their heater hose routing they could share with me to shed some light on the issue. Thanks in advance.

hey, so while I was getting things cleaned and ready for the tri-power I came across a number stamped on the block and was wondering if it was the engine ID? 834487748 I googled around and was unable to find this number referenced anywhere. Anyone have any ideas what this number could be?

I've asked this question on a couple of other threads but didn't get much in the way of answers...we have a pretty "loose" 283 with a Petronix ignition and we're having trouble with AirCare idle CO. Plugs are Autolite 86's gapped at .035" (rough equiv. to AC R45's or R45S's I think)...
