Factory Tach Repair?
(Preview)
Can anyone recommend someone who does tach repairs? The tach in my Firebird is lazy and only climbs to about 2100 rpm. I can get a repro for about $189 so I need to determine what's cheapest. It would be nice however to keep the original tach and it also would be nice to find a repair facility in Canada. Than...

When Is A Light Not A Light?
(Preview)
I bought a complete, old base-model '64 Parisienne dash last Sunday out of a real beater (sorry, I had my camera, but I couldn't get at the tag under all the dirt, hemlock needles, ice & snow). I wanted the speedo lense which was good (mine has a bunch of web-like heat cracks in it). As I was takin...

lamp sockets
(Preview)
The lighting in my dash of my 62 StratoChief seemed a little poor so I attempted to replace some bulbs. Some bulbs were burned, but in some cases there were no sockets. I could put my finger in the hole where the socket would go. Am I able to purchase replacement sockets? Thanks Doug

Here's the problem gents: After a lengthy absence from the '52 I have found the engine won't turn over. I have charged the 6V battery over night and dropped her in this morning. Now the gauges show power, the lights come on, but there is zilch, nada, nothing when I try to turn her over, not even a grunt o...

88 relay wiring
(Preview)
I'm trying to wire in a electric fan from a 88 firebird into a 65 fullsize. I know where the big red wire and the big black wire goes. What I need is where the tan/white wire goes as well as the green/white goes. One powers the relay the other is the ground switching wire.

I have most everything to add a power seat to my 67. It's a option that I've always wanted and I think I might just do it soon. Questions; I know that power seats in general were a "always on" feature not needing a key to operate. I'm wondering where the system gets fed from? My 67 has power window...
