Hi all, so while waiting on pricing on NOS and antique Chevrolet for brake cylinders, I found a set of fronts for a 65 Biscayne, which look very similar for the exception of the bleeder screw is shorter... i'm going to check them out tonight they are WC37079 and 78. It is 1.1875 which is the same as my car, ...

Hey Guys, I need to replace the front brake wheel cylinder seals and dust covers. I am in the UK and so do not have instant access to parts on the shelf for my car. My question is, are they the same as Chevy Impala? if so what year. I have been told that they share a lot of parts with '61 Chevy, is this correct? Th...

wheel size
(Preview)
I have a 62 Pontiac Strato Chief that needs new wheels. The shop manual says it has 14 x 5J wheels and an offset of 0.560. The 14 is the diameter but does that mean a 5" wide rim? Can I go to a wider station wagon size rim? Aftermarket rims in 6" are popular could I go there? Thanks for any suggest...

1962 Parisienne Gear Ratio Question

Was there a standard gear ratio for the 62 Parisienne with powerglide, or did they come with a myriad of choices? I thought mine worked out to around 3.25, but I may have counted wrong.

62 Parisienne Rim Size Question
(
1 2
)
(Preview)
Here's a thought. Now that I've lined up a fourth hubcap, do I have the right rim size? I've seen two 14 x 5 on the parts car front (rears are 14 x 6 or 7), and there are two 14 x 5 in the barn all sandblasted and ready for paint. That makes four 14 x 5. Is this a correct size, even, for a 62 Parisienne, or did they co...

1962 Parisienne Shock Stud / Trailing Arm Bolt Questions
(Preview)
Now that I've pounded the broken one out, and cut the other one out with the sawz-all, is there an easier way to remove these? They also fasten the trailing arms to the rear end. I'm thinking of keeping the rear end as a spare, but if it ever has to be changed, it's a beast of a job getting these shock stud / tra...

Hey guys, I've bolted on a stock power steering assembly from a '64 Laurentian. It works really well considering that I pulled it off a car sitting out in a farm field. It is a little chuggy when I turn the wheel all the way over to the right and left. I had great success with a power steering fluid trans...
