I've replaced the upper bearing in the 65 column, and there is at least 1/8 of up and down play in the wheel now. Looking at the shaft as it passes up through the bearing, it's tight on the inner race, the outer race is seated in the switch housing solid as well. The bearing is super sloppy between the races....
